The Finca is ideal for two, but will sleep four. Quinta dos Pinheiros The property - 40 minutes from Faro airport - runs along the shoreline of one of the tidal lagoons for which the Rio de Formosa is noted and at low tide it is relatively simple to cross to the sea beach on the other side of the sand bar, which can be seen in distance in the picture above. The sea beach is a 5km stretch of white sand, at worst sparsely occupied by locals who travel there by boat, at best deserted, except for fishermen searching for shell fish. |
